bike packing

This is a newer interest for me and it’s one that I’m thrilled to be sharing with a group of amazing women. This powerhouse of women has been one of the biggest sources of inspiration, friendship, encouragement and love.

woodworking

Thanks to the skills I’ve learned as a result of building our home, I’m now knowledgeable enough to build some things, but lack the experience for it to come out decent. It’s great.

climbing

I was passionate about climbing in my 20’s and now enjoy a less intense version of the sport, but I will always value the relentless physical, mental and emotional challenge climbing gives you. It’s always there to humble me.

backpacking

I actually really don’t like hiking, but I’ll saddle up if there’s a destination worth trekking to, and sheesh, I’ve been lucky to see some gems. But seriously, I hate to hike.

s.c.u.b.a.

Despite growing up in the Sonoran Desert, I was an avid diver in my late teens and early twenties. While working at the iconic Desert Divers in Tucson, Arizona, I kinda went all-in for a bit, completed a dozen or so certifications, taught classes, lead trips and became a Dive Master.

travel

I’ve been immensely lucky to have had the opportunity to travel the world for nearly a decade (thanks to contract jobs). While my vagabond days might be over, traveling the world, enjoying other cultures, and being a representative of Planet Earth has been -and continues to be- my greatest teacher.

yoga-inspired movement

As a teacher and lifelong-student of meditation and yoga-inspired movement, I lead several styles; Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Nidra, and power “yoga” inspired classes, as well as a variety of meditation-styles. I had the privilege of running my own little studio in my mountain-community, where we offered an array of yoga and meditation sessions, now I am available for workshops, retreats, and teaching events. Please contact me to schedule something!

canyoneering

My partner’s obsession, and thanks to him I’ve now been through many a canyon and can consider myself active in the sport of canyoneering. Fun note, he proposed in a canyon, hell, our first date was in a canyon, our first skinny dip, our first camping trip..canyons have been a big part of our journey together.

whitewater

This sport is becoming all-consuming over the summer seasons. With the fantastic Wild & Scenic Cache la Poudre river in our backyard, and the amazing Yampa and Arkansas rivers just a stones throw away, there is no other way I’d want to spend my summers.

backcountry skiing

My favorite winter sport at the moment, though I am not the most graceful of creatures on two skis. Still finding my ski-legs, I’ve been progressing in this activity since 2019 and am moving into a more capable level of backcountry skiing.
